About Me

I conducted my masters thesis research on volumetric aberrations of the grey matter volumes of the right temporoparietal junction across psychiatric disorders in Simon Eickhoff's Brain Network Modeling Lab at the Juelich Research Center in Juelich, Germany. Following this work, and the completion of my masters studies at Leiden University in the Netherlands, I joined the IBIC team to work on various studies investigating the late effects of early brain trauma, as well as the benefits of meditation and hypnosis for individuals with chronic pain. My primary research interests include the neural bases of altered states of consciousness as well as the potential medical benefits offered by classic psychedelics to clinical populations. I plan to pursue a PhD in psychopharmacology in the future.
